E-government as a field that involves the use of ICT to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of goverment services is and one of the areas of study at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies in Bitola. During the meeting will be presenting topics that are part of the curricula of the subject e-Government and e-Governance and will be presented some successful student e-government research projects that are focused on the reengineering of business processes in the public sector, the digital transformation of public services in e-services, and potential new solutions in the frame of e-government in Republic of North Macedonia.

Životopis predavača:

Mimoza Bogdanoska Jovanovska is a full professor at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies – Bitola, University "St. Kliment Ohridski" - Bitola, Republic of North Macedonia. Her doctoral studies were completed in 2012 at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia on the topic "Evaluating e-Government through Analysis of Inter-Organizational Networks in Public Administration." Since than her research and teaching field is ICT applying in public sector with focus on evaluation of e-government back office, models for reengineering back office processes, analyzing e-government front office, project management, and more. She is an author/coauthor of more than 50 papers published at conferences and scientific publications (one published paper with impact factor); author of university textbook; co-author of student practicum and textbook and one book published by Springer. Outside of the university she is active participant in non-govermental activities as president of one and memeber of few NGOs. She was a member of the Council for cooperation with and development of the civil sector of the Macedonian government, the highest body in the country. Professor Jovanovska has participated in over 30 projects during her 35-year career, and she has practical experience working as a consultant in a bank and a fast-growing company.
