International Council for Doctoral Study

The International Council for Doctoral Study in Informatics is a board of esteemed international scientists. The members of the International Council for Doctoral Study in Informatics have an advisory role in monitoring the quality of the study and the research of doctoral students. They participate in scientific seminars, in the scientific conference of doctoral students in informatics INFCON, in defense committees and, in general, in activities related to the modernization of the study and in scientific research in the laboratories.

Faculty of informatics and digital technologies uses various technologies and tools with the aim of raising the quality of teaching and the competitiveness of students in the labor market.

The Department of Informatics, a constituent of the University of Rijeka, strives to ensure digital accessibility of its websites to all users regardless of their abilities and used technologies in compliance with the Act on the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies of the Republic of Croatia (official gazette “Narodne novine” no. 17/19, hereinafter: the Act), in effect as of 23 September 2019, and in accordance with the Directive (EU) 2016/2012 of the European Parliament and Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (Official Journal L327, 2 December 2016).

Scientific and Professional Activities

The Faculty of Informatics and Digital Technologies academic staff are actively involved in scientific work by participating on scientific research projects and collaborating with other scientific institutions in Croatia and abroad.
